FIFE Fund 2017-18 Round I will open for application from 8 Septem.. The First-in-the-Family Education Fund (FIFE Fund), which supports first-generation university undergraduates to pursue outside classroom learning, will invite applications from full-time local undergraduates from 8 September to 10 October 2017. Students who are in their second year or above are eligible to apply in Round I, while Year One students can apply in Round II (23 January to 25 February 2018). Over 300 students benefit from FIFE Fund each year! The "First-in-the-Family Education Fund" Scheme has supported more than 2,400 grassroots students in their participation in over 3,000 learning activities outside the classroom in its first eight years. This April, fund recipients gathered at the annual presentation ceremony to share their experiences and took the opportunity to meet donors. more »
