I took part in the rescue and treatment of oil-covered and injured African penguins and seabirds. Apart from skills on the rehabilitation of seabirds, I also gained first-hand experience that allowed me to develop a sense of global responsibility, efficacy, and empathy. And such qualities are essential in patient care.

I have always believed technology is the key to change our future world. Thanks to the support of the FIFE Fund, I had the valuable chance to join the U21 Summer School. With the theme “Cities and Citizens in the Digital Age”, the programme includes a series of seminars and field trips, demonstrating how new technologies can be applied to improve a city.

Last summer, I was selected as one of the 76 interns to work in a non-profit making organization, Artspan, in San Francisco and joined the AIPT Globalization Conference in Las Vegas. During the internship, I learnt to manage art galleries, promote art to the community and communicate with artists.
